How much do O-Crew members make throughout the experience?

The hourly rate for O-Crew is $12.83. O-Crew members can expect to work 20 hours per week with opportunities to add more hours to the workload if one opts to do so.

Can I be both on O-Crew and a Resident Assistant (RA)?

Yes, an O-Crew member can also be an RA without conflict. However, the O-Crew member must communicate this with both University Housing and Orientation Programs to be sure scheduling and requirements are planned accordingly for each position.

Can I be both on O-Crew and a FIG Assistant (FA)?

Yes, an O-Crew member can also be an FA without major conflict. However, the O-Crew member must communicate this with both the FIG Program and Orientation Programs to be sure scheduling and requirements are planned accordingly for each position.

Can I be both an O-Crew member and a Conference Assistant (CA)?

No, an O-Crew member cannot be a CA as these job requirements are in direct conflict with the O-Crew member schedule during the summer. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.

Does the job require me to be in person?

Regardless of the format of IntroDUCKtion (either in person or virtual) O-Crew will be required to work in person to help execute on-campus operations of the program.
