Exciting news for our long-distance Ducks: we are bringing our summer IntroDUCKtion orientation program on the road to Honolulu, Chicago, and Washington, DC! We hope these options make traveling to IntroDUCKtion easier for our new students and families.
All off-site programs will include orientation for students, a comprehensive parent and family program, and an Oregon Migration event. Hotel accommodations are not provided during off-site IntroDUCKtion sessions. If you and your family need local accommodations, we recommend making a reservation at the host hotel.
Registration for off-site IntroDUCKtion programs opens on May 1, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time. To register, log in to DuckWeb, click on the Admissions menu, and select "Register for Orientation and FIGs." You will be guided through the registration process. 2018 Session Dates
The fee for off-site IntroDUCKtion programs is $280, which includes one parent or family member, staffing and program related costs, materials, and some meals. Additional parents and family members may be added at the time of registration for an extra cost of $95 per guest. This fee is only added if you select an additional guest during the registration process. Click here to learn more about fees and changing your reservation.
Academic advising for students attending the off-site IntroDUCKtion sessions will occur online via BlueJeans. Students will receive an email at their @uoregon.edu email address with specific instructions for logging in to the advising session. Advising and course registration will occur before the off-site IntroDUCKtion sessions.
Attending both an online advising session and the in-person IntroDUCKtion session in the city you select are required.
