All University of Oregon students are required to attend an IntroDUCKtion orientation session prior to their first term. In rare cases a student with significant hardship can be granted an exception to attend a latecomer orientation session.
Other exceptions we may consider include:
- Overnight residence hall stay requirement
- Third night stay in residence hall
A note for summer and fall 2024 admits: The date of your IntroDUCKtion session is not tied to when your academic advising appointment will take place. Academic advising will take place separately from your IntroDUCKtion session and happen virtually. Please make sure that you are reading your university email for action items necessary to complete to be eligible for signing up for your academic advising appointment.
