Campus Tours & Visits

UO Ambassador Program

The Ambassador Staff is composed of current UO students who conduct all regular and special campus tours, make telephone to calls to prospective, and serve as hosts during campus open house events.

We encourage you to visit the University of Oregon as it really is the best way to decide if this is the place for you. We have several opportunities for you to see what the UO is all about.

Regular Tours

Campus tours are conducted Monday through Friday at 9:30 A.M. and 12:30 P.M., and Saturdays at 10:30 A.M.

All tours begin from the Tours and Information Booth on the First Floor of Oregon Hall. Check out the campus map to find Oregon Hall and get directions to campus.

Tours last about 1.5 hours and cover most of campus, including a look at Residence Hall complexes, the Student Recreation Center, Knight Library, classrooms, the Erb Memorial Union, and the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art.

Special Tours

Contact the Ambassador Program to arrange a special tour! Call us at (541) 346-1274.

Duck Preview

Duck Preview is our fall open house for prospective students. It's a one-day event held on a weekend in October or November. You'll have the opportunity to learn about academic programs, student activities and services, plus you'll take a campus tour and have the opportunity to be admitted on-site. For more information or to register for Duck Preview, click here.

Duck Days

Duck Days are a series of open house events that are half-day events in March and April and are typically held on days when classes are in session. We offer campus tours, academic sessions, and information about student services and activities. We think spring is the best time to visit! Get more information here.
