Making the Transition

You did it. You’re a Duck. Not just for the next few years, but for your whole life. And it starts here. Orientation is the first step in calling the University of Oregon home, and we are honored to welcome you.

Transferring to the UO

We offer two types of orientation experiences for transfer students; how you decide to start your transition is up to you.

One-Day IntroDUCKtion Program

Our one-day program is ideal for transfer students who have prior experience at another institution and are looking to connect specifically with other transfer students. You will attend an academic advising workshop, meet one-on-one with an academic advisor, and have the opportunity to connect with university resources by exploring our information fair and afternoon interest sessions.
