Students admitted for fall term who were unable to attend IntroDUCKtion during the summer must attend the final remaining orientation session on September 20–21, 2016. Registration for this session can be completed via DuckWeb. September IntroDUCKtion is a full, two-day session. Please plan your participation 8:00–5:00 p.m. on both September 20 and 21.

Orientation is a university requirement, so if you did not attend a summer IntroDUCKtion session, you must attend September IntroDUCKtion if you intend to start classes in the fall. If you attended a summer IntroDUCKtion session, you do not need to attend the September IntroDUCKtion session.

***NOTE for all CLARK HONORS COLLEGE students (CHC): Details about your CHC orientation and move in will be communicated by the Honors College. CHC Students can learn more here.

Move In

If you will be attending September IntroDUCKtion and will be living in a residence hall, you can move into your room the day before the session on Monday, September 19, 2:00–5:00 p.m. Specific information about move in will be emailed to you by UO Housing.

If you are living in the residence halls Fall term, you will receive a parking pass for IntroDUCKtion when you check in at your residence hall. If you are not living in the residence halls in the fall term, you can receive a parking pass at IntroDUCKtion check in the morning of September 20.

Event Schedule

After you've moved in on September 19, you can meet the IntroDUCKtion staff outside on the EMU Green at 6:00 p.m. for some informal welcome activities.

The IntroDUCKtion session will officially begin the following morning, September 20, with check in outside of the Erb Memorial Union near Straub Hall, 8:00–9:00 a.m. The opening session will begin at 9:00 a.m. for both students and families. Here is a map to the check in location.
