Get all your details about Move-In Day on the Housing website. Be sure to follow the instructions emailed from Housing to your uoregon email address, because your move-in time is assigned specifically for you. So how exactly does the UO move you and a few thousand of your peers into your residence halls in a single day? Well, we hate to brag, but we're kinda good at it.
Already on campus and hoping to help with Unpack the Quack? All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to participate.
Specific times and locations sent to students’ uoregon email.
For students who have received the Summit, Apex, Presidential, Stamps, Quest, or Diversity Excellence scholarships, you and your families are invited to an ice cream social with Dr. Roger Thompson, Vice President for Enrollment Management, and staff from the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, Student Orientation Programs, and Admissions.
After you move in come enjoy a tasty treat with other scholarship recipients and their families.
This reception is come-and-go and come-as-you-are.
Meet up with your Flock and start Week of Welcome off right. The WOW Kickoff is where it all begins, and you do NOT want to miss it. You can meet your Flock and your Student Orientation Staff member (SOSer). We'll also light up the arena with a few other surprises you won't want to miss.
Wear green and yellow!
We’re taking over the Rec Center. Follow the crowd from Matthew Knight Arena after Kickoff and experience all the Rec has to offer. Tour the brand new facilities, hang out with your new friends, and get your Zumba on.

Presented by Parent and Family Programs, Parents' Day Off is a full day of events for parents and families of incoming first-year students. The purpose of these events is to orient families with the Eugene area, as well as provide the opportunity to talk to key staff members at the university. Please note that these events are for families and friends of students only, as the students will have required programming at this time. Visit families.uoregon.edu/wow for more details!
You don’t have to wait until graduation to get involved in the work you love. From social justice to sustainability, humanities to health, explore how to apply your academic interests at the UO and make the most of your degree. Discover opportunities beyond the classroom, connect with people in the know, and develop next steps to incorporate your passions into your first year and beyond.
Are you a first-year or transfer student living off-campus this year? Join Student Orientation Staffers who have had the same experience. We'll give you resources for living off-campus, best ways to stay involved, and where to find your community. After the presentation and question-and-answer session, we'll all walk over to the Pep Rally together.
Learn what it takes to be in the student section as a Duck, the dedication, the energy, the noise! We’ll celebrate our student-athletes and coaches while learning what it means to be a fan at the UO. We have free t-shirts for everyone who attends. This pep rally will get you ready for gameday.
Don't miss out on being part of the legacy of your class with this year's class photo, taken directly after the pep rally at Matthew Knight Arena. All of your friends of the class of 2022 will be around you throwing up the O.
Check out the Class of 2021's photo from last year.
