What is Week of Welcome?

 The description is as easy as 1, 2, 3

  1. New admitted students begin their afternoon with the "We Are Oregon" Pep Rally at 4:00 PM. Located in Matthew Knight Arena, they'll learn what it takes to be in the student section during any sports game as a Duck. They'll learn the dedication, energy, and level of excitment and noise they bring to a game! We'll celebrate our stdent athletes and coaches, and free t-shirts will be passed out to everyone who attends this event.

  2. Then, students will move on to taking the 2021 Class Photo! All of the students coming to the UO as a part of this class will take photo together, throwing up the O. Yes, all the students can see themselves in the photo, and yes, they all look fabulous.

  3. Finally, directly after the Class Photo, the party starts with the 2017 Flock Party. The Flock Party provides a fun, interactive, and informative celebration to welcome University of Oregon students and sets the tone for this new year at a new school. They find organizations to join, get free food and swag, and have a serious blast meeting interesting sponsors at the UO's block party; we call it the Flock Party!

 

Tabling at the Flock Party

  • Flock Party tents, 10' by 10' each, will be available for $2,500.
  • These spots come with electricity, tables, and chairs, or a sponsor may bring their own, branded tent.
  • The Flock Party event on September 24, 2017 is estimated to bring in arond 5,000+ students.
  • Sponsor may present raffle items for students to sign up to win (with prior approval).

 

Last Minute Tabling at the Flock Party
