Student Orientation Programs cordially invites you to IntroDUCKtion, the UO's summer orientation program for new fall term students. All entering freshmen and transfer students should plan to attend. Last summer more than 90% of freshmen participated and left IntroDUCKtion with a full schedule for fall term. After attending IntroDUCKtion, you will return to campus in the fall better prepared for your university experience.

At IntroDUCKtion, you and your family will become acquainted with the UO campus and have opportunities to discuss university life with current students and faculty members. You will learn about academic requirements, course offerings, and academic support services. You will meet with an academic adviser to plan your first-term class schedule and get your questions answered. Following advising, you will register for your fall classes. Finally, you will learn about the many academic and extracurricular opportunities that make the UO an exciting and unique place.

The program schedule allows time for you to seek individual assistance with your needs and concerns.
