Costs and Reservations

Cost

The student participation fee or IntroDUCKtion is included in a one-time matriculation fee* that all new University of Oregon students pay.

The IntroDUCKtion parent participation fee of $55 per person covers meals, materials, facility use, and programming costs.

The lodging rate for both students and family members who choose to stay in residence halls is $32 per person, per night.

If you have already registered for IntroDUCKtion but would like to add Housing or Parent Program, please send us a check or money order, made payble to the University of Oregon, for the correct amount. Please include your UO ID number on the check. Mail the payment to:

Refund Policy
A request for refund due to cancellation of Housing or Parent Program reservations will be handled as follows:

· 50% Refund: Cancellation before or on June 30, 2008
· No Refund: Cancellation after June 30, 2008

Refunds for credit card payments are processed within one week of approval of the refund and are made to the credit card used to pay for the fees. Refunds for e-check payments are processed in September after all Orientation sessions have concluded. Processing takes approximately four to six weeks and will appear as a credit on the student’s first billing statement.

Reservations

To register, you must fill out the IntroDUCKtion Reservation Request form, using Duckweb, no later than June 30, 2008**. Students who do not attend IntroDUCKtion must attend Week of Welcome.


*The matriculation fee is included in the student’s fall term tuition and fee bill. Students who attend IntroDUCKtion but do not enroll at the UO will be billed a $100 participation fee.

**Students in the Robert D. Clark Honors College must register for IntroDUCKtion by June 1, 2008.
